Responsible for the logistical planning and execution of a portfolio of complex medical education programs and Voice of Customer advisory meetings for the USAC and Latin America areas. Leads programs and events with high proficiency in full-service meetings management inclusive of venue sourcing/contracting process, creating and maintaining registration site, group travel arrangements, meals and lodging, room set-up and audio-visual plan. Manages program budgets and expense reporting. Possesses an unwavering commitment to healthcare compliance to ensure compliance with Health Care Professional (HCP) interactions, transparency reporting and throughout the lifecycle of events. Delivers the highest level of customer service. Collaborates and communicates effectively with internal partners, establishing and maintaining constructive relationships. Develops strong partnerships with corporate travel agency, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the success of events. Handles non-routine inquiries of moderate to complex scope and resolves conflict. Adapts differing techniques and methods to develop solutions for a variety of issues, appropriately applying extensive experience, research, and reasoning to achieve desired results. Determines priorities and timelines, collaborates effectively with Event Planning Coordinator, and is accountable for the activities and results of assigned events. Trains/mentors and develops team members. Manages advanced level and cross-functional projects. Provides system administration. Provides work direction to non-employee contract workers. Engages in the development, implementation, and enforcement of policies and procedures. Identifies gaps and opportunities for improvement. Leads improvement initiatives and/or solutions to work processes and tools, to drive maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Decisions directly influence the workflow of the work team and may impact the operational effectiveness of multiple work groups in the department, next higher organizational tier, or related activities within the Meeting Planning, Americas function. Applies thorough knowledge and assesses risks properly in decision-making. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Five (5) years of experience in managing corporate meeting/event planning, including medical education programs, marketing programs and advisory meetings for physicians and other healthcare professionals in a private, public, government or military environment Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and professional event management software/systems (Cvent, event mobile app, etc) Knowledge of Pharma Guidelines and AdvaMed Code of Ethics. Extensive experience with healthcare compliance. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bilingual capabilities. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
