Quick Apply Full-time 44 minutes ago Full Job Description Schutz Container System is a Global Packaging Container Company is searching for a Help Desk Technician for our Corporate located in Somerville NJ Responsibilities Primarily responsible for end user interaction and support of infrastructure services Answers inbound user help requests utilizing a ticketing system to log solutions or escalate problems Assist with maintenance of systems Identify & troubleshoot workstation configuration and/or performance irregularities Follow procedures to respond to these irregularities in a timely manner Infrastructure alerts are addressed or escalated in a timely and thorough manner Oversee the execution and completion of assigned tasks Document and improve existing processes Setup & break-down laptops, monitors, keyboards & mice, printers and other IT hardware and software as necessary Assist in the inventory of computer equipment and ordering of additional stock to maintain sufficient levels Position Requirements Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience Must possess a strong commitment to high-quality customer service and solid work ethic Must be able to learn quickly Basic computer networking knowledge Word / Excel / Power point experience a plus Proficient with managing and prioritizing multiple projects Strong communications skills and ability to impart information about technology services to end users May troubleshoot unfamiliar products through vendor or online documentation Innovative and able to think out of the box Excellent written and verbal communication skills including interpersonal / customer service skills Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail Exceptionally self-motivated and directed with ability to set and manage priorities judiciously Technologies Networking (Cisco, Ruckus, TCP/IP) (Understanding of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Windows domains) Microsoft Windows 10 Microsoft Server Mobile devices (iPhone and iPad) Network printers and copiers (Lexmark, Ricoh, HP) Job Type:
