IT Support Specialist/Break Fix 12 Month Contract (W2) Branchburg, NJ (On-Site) In this position you will be responsible for handling of circuits to the end user.
Supporting laptop repairs.
Will be working on Client laptops doing mother boards, hard drives, screens.
PC Hardware/Software troubleshooting parts replacements and installation Basic understanding of PC functionality.
Tech will assist customers and install device security, McAfee, and CrowdStrike.
Knowledge of email - Lotus Notes is used.
Understand the automation process of security updates but be knowledgeable in installing McAfee and CrowdStrike manually in case the network is not unavailable.
Configure laptop devices as required.
Networking and Wireless knowledge.
Cell phone support, assist a customer in configuring phone using MaaS360 and HCL Verse.
Troubleshoot and solve tough technology problems.
Resolve technical IT issues for clients via phone, or remote support.
Accurately track customer issues, their resolutions Thorough knowledge of PCs, Servers, hardware, software, and peripherals as well as a superior understanding of networking technologies, concepts, and protocols.
Basic network printer and print knowledge.
Requirements:
2 years
experience working on repairing or break/fix work for computer hardware including laptops.
A
certification preferred.
