The quality engineering manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of state of the art quality engineering practices and improvements in design, development and transfer of new products. He/she works closely with cross functional leaders in R&D, operations, medical affairs, regulatory affairs and suppliers. The position is also responsible for building the quality engineering capability within the organization and leading engineers. The individual have knowledge of detection of defects at earliest phase of product design, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. The individual responsible for the asking position also performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a product development design quality engineering role is required. Medical device industry experience is strongly preferred. Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally in a matrixes environment is required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experienced in (i.e. team leader, supervisor, manager role) is desired.
Education
Bachelor degree in engineering.
